The church of St Paul in Pensacola was dedicated on 24 August 2008 by The Most Reverend John H. Ricard SSJ. Over 1400 parishioners were in attendance for the Rite of Dedication. The new church features both reclaimed sacred art — stained glass windows from the Archiodiocese of Philadelphia and the Diocese of Oakland — as well as newly commissioned works by Wastweet Studios in Seattle WA, Mosaica in New York, Keith Johnson and Images of the Cross in Augusta GA, Vonn Hartung in Puerto Rico, Donohue Fine Arts in Sierra Vista AZ, DiStefano Ruiz Studio in Oakland CA, and.
Liturgical Environs PC has been selected as the Architect for the new parish church of Our Lady of Grace in Maricopa, AZ. Initial conceptual designs for the first phase of 500 seats and the parish administration center have been approved in a “desert Gothic” style. Later phases will enlarge the church to 1500 seats, add a social hall, and eventually a grade school on a 20 acre site. Images of the initial concept studies can be seen on the Project page.
Our Savior Catholic Center, the parish church at the University of Southern California, has asked Liturgical Environs PC to assist the design architect Elkus Manfredi of Boston MA with the new 400 seat student chapel. The new church will respect the existing Italianate Romanesque style that defines the USC campus. UPDATE: The project is now in the Design Development phase, working with the local firm Studio One-Eleven as the Architect of Record.
